Glamour Puss Events - Terms & Conditions
1. All hired equipment remains the sole property of Glamour Puss Events.
2. The hire will be for the period agreed on the contract. Late return of items will incur additional charge, equivalent to 1 weeks hire charge, unless prior arrangements in writing have been agreed with the hirer.
3. The customer shall pay a non- refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the hire costs agreed. Glamour Puss Events shall retain this amount in the event of cancellation prior to hire period commencing. Hire agreements should reach the hirer no later than 6 weeks prior to hire unless agreement has been made with Glamour Puss Events prior to contract.
4. The customer shall supply by means of security (i.e cheque) made payable to Glamour Puss Events in respect of hire. Glamour Puss Events reserves the right to present the cheque at any time for payment of any sums due in respect of damage, loss, additional cleaning charges or extended hire. The customer accepts that they have been handed instructions detailing the use/cleaning of all hired equipment. The cost of any replacement can be provided o request.
5. The customer shall be responsible for the hire equipment from time of delivery to return.
6. All the equipment shall be returned in accordance with the instructions provided with the equipment in a clean and serviceable condition. The customer agrees to pay additional cleaning costs upon return if items are not returned in accordance with the instructions.
7. Glamour Puss Events or any of their employees shall not be liable in respect of damages/loss/injury or other damage incurred in respect of this hire as a result of any defect or damage to th eitem and the customer shall satisfy himself/herself of the suitability/condition/placement of the equipment upon receipt. Caution should be excercised in particular with candles and permission should be sought from the venue to the suitibility of all items.
8. The customer shall be responsible for the delivery/collection costs as greed prior to hire and any additional costs incurred in collecting items not returned as agreed or outside normal working hours. Additional costs may be incurred for aborted journeys or waiting time.
9. Any breakages/damage shall be notified upon receipt to Glamour Puss Events prior touse, should this not be done any shortages or damage shall be the responsibility of the customer.
